This privacy policy explains how Traduo ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. We have designed Traduo to collect as little data as possible. Most data stays on your device and never reaches our servers.
Traduo stores the following data locally on your device using your phone's secure storage. This data is never transmitted to us:
Your selected experience level (beginner, intermediate, advanced) · Your learning progress including cards read, quiz scores, and chapters completed · Your XP points and daily streak count · Your notification preferences · Your Markets watchlist and favourite assets · Your price alert preferences.
This data is deleted if you uninstall the app or use the "Reset progress" option in the Profile screen.
To provide live market data and news, the app connects to the following third-party APIs. When the app makes a request to these services, your IP address is transmitted as part of standard internet communication. We do not share any personal information with these services.
Twelve Data (twelvedata.com) — provides live market prices.
Currents API (currentsapi.services) — provides financial news articles.
Finnhub (finnhub.io) — provides economic calendar data.
The app displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers, approximate location, and usage data to serve relevant ads in accordance with Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of personalised advertising in your device Settings under Privacy → Apple Advertising (iOS) or Google Settings → Ads (Android).
The app contains links to third-party broker websites including Pepperstone, IC Markets, and FTMO. These are affiliate links, clearly labelled as such in the app. If you click a link and register with a broker, we may receive a commission. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or services of these third-party websites.
Traduo does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal information.
Traduo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
As the app does not collect personal data directly, we do not act as a data controller under the UK GDPR or EU GDPR for user data. Third-party services listed above act as independent data controllers for any data they collect. For data collected by Google AdMob, you have the right to opt out of personalised advertising as described in section 4.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
